1. New Comer workshops

These workshops are scalble and deals with integrating newcomers into the Canadian workforce, helping them understand the culture of canadian workforce and breaking down the myths that so often comes with entering a new workforce as an immigrant. 

​

2. Ready to Embrace

Building Awareness. Empowering Community. Advancing Inclusion.

Ready to Embrace is an 18-month community initiative  designed to promote anti-racism awareness, celebrate immigrant, Brown and Black history and culture, and build a more inclusive city for everyone. 

 

Through this initiative, we will:

  • Host community forums and city-wide awareness events

  • Deliver tailored workshops for youth, adults, and public service professionals

  • Facilitate small group conversations within schools, police, healthcare, and other public institutions

  • Collect and share insights and data to help shape future programs and policies

Our Goals:

  • Raise Awareness of Black contributions to Fort Saskatchewan's past, present, and future

  • Educate through evidence-based training that challenges stereotypes and dismantles stigma

  • Empower individuals, especially youth, to advocate for equity and inclusion

  • Support Integration by helping institutions build safer, more welcoming environments for all

EL Shama Consulting Inc. acknowledges that we live, work, and serve on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional lands of many First Nations, including the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, and Inuit, and it is also the Métis homeland.
